Assistance League of Las Vegas is an all-volunteer, nonprofit, working organization dedicated to meeting the needs of the community's children through its philanthropic programs.
Assistance League of Las Vegas has two New Member classes each year. We hold a New Member "Coffee" in September and January. New members participate in an orientation program acquainting them with all aspects of membership.
In 2009, we have 410 dedicated members, contributing over 34,000 hours to our philanthropic programs or fundraising by working in our Thrift Shop.
We are one of 117 chapters nationally whose over 24,000 members volunteer a total of more than 2,500,000 hours yearly.
Assistance League of Las Vegas puts caring and commitment into action through its three philanthropic programs. Membership is open to any individual, regardless of race, color, creed or ethnic background.
